Free daily calorie and macro calculator

Maintaining, losing, or gaining weight starts with understanding roughly how many calories your body uses each day. This calculator estimates your resting energy burn, converts it into total daily energy expenditure, then adjusts the number based on your goal. It also provides a practical macro split so the calorie target becomes easier to use in real meals.

The calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR, activity multipliers for TDEE, and goal-based adjustments for fat loss or muscle gain. The output is not a medical prescription. It is a planning estimate you can compare with real-world progress.

How this calculator works

First, the calculator estimates BMR, which is the energy your body uses at rest for basic functions. Second, it multiplies BMR by an activity factor to estimate TDEE. Third, it adjusts calories for your selected goal. Finally, it assigns protein, fat, and carbohydrates using calorie math: protein and carbs provide about four calories per gram, while fat provides about nine calories per gram.
